Multi Strategy fund with very little turnover, seeks a candidate to support multiple PM's and Traders desks trading in global macro products. At a minimum, must have experience with the trade life cycle of Interest Rate Derivatives, FX and Futures trades. This role touches all facets of support and trade oversight, in addition to participating in process improvement and automation.
Responsibilities:
Booking trades from trade blotters, emails and chat rooms
Confirm trades with counterparties and internal stakeholders
Ensure trade details are accurately captured in relevant systems
Monitor and reconcile trade settlements
Investigate and resolve all trade discrepancies or issues
Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate trade settlements
Act as a liaison between trading teams and counterparties to resolve pricing/risk/allocation inaccuracies
Monitor trade flow from electronic trading platforms (Bloomberg, Tradeweb, etc.) and Affirmation Platforms (MarkitWire, Traiana)
Act as process owner for current functionality and provide critical support regarding enhancements to technology, workflows and processes
Manage relationships with counterparties, brokers and other stakeholders involved in the settlement process
Daily processing of hedging and conversion transactions
Ad hoc projects and request as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in finance, economics, or a related field
3-15 years’ experience in derivative trade support
Technical knowledge of derivative products including but not limited to Interest Rate Swaps (IRS), Credit Default Swaps (CDS), Equity Derivatives, Options, Futures, Total Return Swaps (TRS) and FX Forwards
Experience with Dealer portals
Experience using vendor platforms including Markitwire, DTCC, and Icelink
Hedge fund and/or prime brokerage experience in a similar role
Experience with Bloomberg preferred
Strong excel skills
Self-starter, good communication skills and ability to be a team player
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills

Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 base
