This role would lead a virtual inside sales in selling their K-12 digital literacy solutions.  They are rapidly expanding their inside sales team and are looking to higher an Inside Sales Manager who can manage a virtual inside sales team.  The Sales Manager would be responsible for the management of the team for both new business and renewals.  They would also be taking the lead on strategic sales.


  • Lead, mentor, develop, inspire, and manage the inside sales representatives to achieve the company’s sales objectives
  • Provide input to marketing to support sales plans
  • Maintains updated account records via CRM
  • Leverage dashboards and reporting to report sales results, activity and pipeline development weekly
  • Motivate and develop sales representatives
  • Demonstrates the ability to provide leadership, specific guidance and support to sales team members in an overall sales capacity or working with specific customers or prospects via daily hands-on coaching
  • Control territory expenses to assure that the annual travel & entertainment budget is not exceeded.
  • Manage inside sales reps in define geographic territory
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly sales forecasts
  • Assist with recruiting and hiring new sales force as necessary
  • Measure performance of each sales professional by developing account plans and actions steps for each sales team member
  • Ensure that all inside sales representatives are achieving their daily activity requirements


Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of successful inside sales management experience
  • Strong consultative sales experience and background
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • Familiarity with web based products, researching via web, or other internet experience
  • Some travel required to attend key industry conferences, less than 10% of time
  • Ability to work with others in team environment to achieve common objectives
